Zine is a bi-annual publication of beautiful, elegant and thoughtful male focussed fashion. It also addresses art & design, literature and music that inspire and affect. The aim is to showcase the rise of talent within these primary creative industries. And by allowing these art forms to intersect, Zine seeks to deliver an explosion of raw power to captivate the scenes.
Zine is ambitious. It seeks to inspire, affect and aestheticise. And to do so well. The strategy is simple. By bringing together a collective of contributors from a range of different industries, Zine is a space for understanding and expanding male fashion through other art forms. It speaks to the designer, the artist and the individual who recognises the importance of the continual cultural dialogue between fashion, literature, music and art & design. Whereas other fashion magazines are for the consumer, Zine involves the creative who wants to be challenged and motivated through a range of ideas.
Founded by Andrew Stainforth previously Designer of GQ Style, The Sunday Times Style, Porter, Matches Fashion and a host of other premium publications. The experience gained through constant work and training in editorial design specifically has given Andrew the motivation to continue his personal project - Zine.
