Tate Modern Switch House Illustrated Art Print.

Tate Modern. The Switch House. Illustrated Up-side down Art Print.

What's not to love about spiral staircases and neon lights!

The Tate Modern's newest extension the 'Switch House' is a thing of beauty. Concrete on concrete, checkerboard windows, spiralling steps and enclosed arcs- this building is the biggest exhibit in itself.

Pushing boundaries with geometry and textures, like a new brutalism. Designed by Herzog & de Meuron, who converted the original Bankside factory building in 2000, adding 60% extra space to the gallery.

It's so refreshing to have this amidst a cluster of soulless glass skyscrapers, and such a significant addition to the architectural icons of London.

Yellow Blue and Red.

The colours inspired by Piet Mondrian, (also on display at the Tate). A pioneer of modern abstract art, of the most rigorous kind.

Fine art Giclee Prints on Xpression smooth 300gsm thick paper available. (I love this, as the archival inks enhance the colours, on light texture) Reminds me a bit of concrete for this design!
