Dima Kavko - Rockby White Walls Problems
The print refers to the unnamed little heroes in our everyday life. In classic art, animals reflected the status of their wealthy masters - horses by Stubbs, Pomeranian dogs by Gainsborough were more of a commodity rather than “human’s best friends”. The dog and the butterfly by a well-known Russian artist Dima Kavko manifests the freedom of living creatures (and neglecting of a master-servant system) by perpetual movement in the abstract background which could be every place in the world.
